Up! How Families Around the World Carry Their Little Ones by Susan Hughes

cover104753-mediumI love this book as it depicts kids from all over the world and how they are carried. Simple language and nice pictures help create an interesting read for young children.

This is a fabulous book. The illustrations are beautiful and display a tremendous amount of diversity of different types of families and different family members. The characters are all different colors and races and the family makeup is so variably structured that it just shines through.

The illustrations are wonderful. They are done by cutting and pasting layers of paper and it makes them look three-dimensional. This is a good book for teaching about diversity and multiculturalism.

I received this ARC Owlkids Books and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
