Francesca by Donald F Mayo

screen-shot-2016-07-13-at-3-46-16-pmFrancesca by Donald F Mayo is a complex historical fiction read. Francesca takes you to the era in which the book takes place. As the reader you feel like you are stepping back in history, which shows that Mayo did his research.  The characters are likable. However, it is difficult to follow the story at times because of the amount of characters that are giving the narrator roll. Due to the switching of narrator and that there are so many characters it made it difficult to get to know the characters. I wish that there were fewer characters and a consistent narrator so the characters were more developed.

I give this book 2.5/5 stars.

I received this book from the publisher via NetGalley for a fair and honest review.
