To Burp or Not to Burp: A Guide to Your Body in Space

Screen Shot 2016-07-09 at 7.49.46 PM To Burp or Not to Burp: A Guide to Your Body in Space by Dave Williams and Loredana Cunti is a kid friendly version of life in space. It is not new knowledge that in space there is zero gravity, this book talks about some of the challenges astronauts face in space. The book talks about going to bathroom and how to dispose of the waste. Other interesting facts include haircare, brushing your teeth, and blowing your nose. There are certain things that we do here on earth that is quite easy but in space with zero gravity that can be very challenging like exercising and eating, which are presented in short bubbles. The book is presented in a humorous way with illustrations and real photos of astronauts.

Kids will love finding out about the gross things that they wanted to know about space travel. This is a great book for reluctant readers, especially those interested in space or space travel.

I received an advanced readers copy from Annick Press Ltd.via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
